Well, hmm. That's what this journal used to be about. Now? All Jensen, All the Time. It should be my new motto. I may return to these roots, but. Well. Not as of yet.
I'm a recent college graduate, born and raised in California. I was introduced to fandom when I was 16, I believe, though my involvement was limited to reading hetfic, mainly in the Profiler and Farscape fandoms. And then I discovered Highlander and Methos and hello slash!
Then I happened to catch Jensen on a throwaway S1 ep of Dark Angel...and that was it. I was done. That was, uhh, 8 years ago?
It was all downhill from there.
I like to analyze and deconstruct. I love to write. If a character is snarky and eloquent, I'm there. And I will talk about those characters and their shows to death. It fuels my desire to write, especially when I'm interacting with others on the topic. Dark Angel has been dead for over 7 years. I'm writing it. Why? Because I can talk to people about it. That interaction hugely impacts my involvement in a fandom. My point? Jump in. Strike up a conversation. Tell me what you're passionate about because passion is infectious and if you're here, we must have something in common.
